I’m Lee, and I’m the woman behind Wild Changer.

I swim year-round in Scotland, so I know exactly what it’s like to be standing barefoot on freezing, jaggy stones in February, trying to get changed while the wind does its very best to ruin your day.

The water isn’t usually the hard bit.

It’s everything afterwards.

I looked for a bag that would actually make that bit easier. I couldn’t find one, so I decided to build it myself.

For six months, I worked with more than 100 wild swimmers, testing, tweaking and debating over pockets, straps and where on earth you’re supposed to put your shoes. Every little detail came from someone saying, “I wish it had…”

That’s why I’m particularly proud of the Wild Changer. It’s been built alongside the swimming community, rather than simply designed for them.

And when I’m not building bags, I’m building fires.

I’ve run Firewalk Scotland for 20 years, so I spend quite a lot of my time helping people do things they never thought they could do, including walking barefoot over hot coals.

Which is probably why I have absolutely no interest in standing on jaggy stones while I’m getting changed.

The Wild Changer is waterproof, insulated and big enough for proper swim kit, with a padded changing mat to keep your feet off the ground. It’s been tested in Scottish lochs, beaches and car parks, and it’s built for people who actually swim outdoors.

Basically, we got fed up with the faff and decided to sort it.
